Managed IT

Infrastructure that runs silent — and never becomes the vulnerability.

Reliable IT is the foundation security is built on. We run it to a standard that holds under pressure, with every layer hardened by default.

The foundation problem

You can't secure what you can't rely on.

Reactive support, mystery outages, and 'it's probably fine' are not an IT strategy — they are a standing risk. Resilient infrastructure isn't a luxury on top of security. It is the ground security stands on.

  • Backups that have never been restored.
  • A network with nothing between the front desk and the file server.
  • Patching that is 'automatic' — except where it quietly isn't.
  • Three vendors, no one accountable for the gaps between them.
How GMAN runs it

Run to a standard that holds under pressure.

Infrastructure that runs silent — and never becomes the vulnerability. Every layer is engineered so the day something goes wrong is the day the design proves itself — not the day it fails.

  1. 01

    We harden before we deploy

Every device, tenancy and firewall is configured to a secure baseline before it touches your business. Default settings are an attacker's first gift — we never leave them in place.

  2. 02

We segment so a breach stays small

Flat networks turn one compromised laptop into a company-wide event. We design segmentation that contains a problem to the room it started in.

  3. 03

We make recovery a measured fact

Backups are tested, immutable and offline-capable — and we rehearse the restore so your recovery time is a number you've seen, not a hope.

  4. 04

We hold one line of accountability

Helpdesk, infrastructure, cloud and vendors under one engagement. When something breaks, there is exactly one team responsible — and they answer.

Procurement & lifecycle

Physical goods, handled like evidence.

We procure, stage, harden and deploy the physical layer — firewalls, endpoints, network appliances — and the licensed software that protects it: EDR seats, email security, backup licensing. Vendor relationships held directly. Every asset on a live register from purchase order to secure retirement.

Domains, hosting, business email and SSL certificates are available today through the GMAN IT storefront. Everything physical is quoted per build, on enquiry.

On the record

The work, on the record. Anonymised, never embellished.

Case file · Professional Services · National · redacted

A flat network, one click from total loss.

  • Forty staff, one un-segmented network, and backups reachable with a standard login.
  • Patching was 'automatic' — yet the core file server was eight months behind.
  • No one had ever timed a full restore. The real figure was over four days.

We segmented the network, rebuilt recovery to a tested four-hour target, and the firm has run two clean disaster-recovery rehearsals since.
